Virtual Salon: Holocaust Narratives In a Time of Peril
In observance of Yom HaShoah / Days of Remembrance 2020, discover two newly told stories of Holocaust survival and share in a discussion of why these narratives matter in today’s world.
Narrative 1: Live Another Day, a personal memoir of remaking a life after the trauma of loss and survival. Presenting: coauthors Walter Ruby and Dan Ruby
Narrative 2: Screening of Nobody Wants Us a documentary film about families aboard the ill-fated refugee ship SS Quanza. Directed by Laura Selzer-Duny
WHAT: Zoom teleconference. The meeting link will be provided upon purchase of a ticket.

SCHEDULE
• Arrive any time beginning at 4 pm ET for informal greetings among participants. The program will begin promptly at 4:15.
• There will be a 15 minute presentation about the book Live Another Day, followed by watching the 37 minute film Nobody Wants Us.
• 30 to 40 minute discussion & we'll wrap up by 6 pm.
